Why I love the ocean

The ocean covers most of the planet and moves its heat.

  2. Compare that to the tallest mountain.
  3. Find out how much has been mapped.

For the grown-up reading this

Nobody has to talk a child into liking the ocean. They have to not talk them out of it. New Haven County is one of 8 counties in Connecticut.

Less of the seafloor is mapped in detail than the surface of Mars.
