Is this catch-up or enrichment?

Both, run in the same room. The diagnostic on day one decides which each child gets.

Will it feel like school?

No. There are no worksheets that do not lead somewhere.

Can it help before a placement test?

Yes, though the honest answer is that eight weeks of daily practice beats one camp week for test outcomes.

What the week actually is

Summer math loss is real and it compounds — students lose roughly two months of grade-level equivalency over a summer with no practice. A math camp week is not remediation, it is a reset on the belief that math is something done to you.
